In its early years, the Society provided educational scholarships to the deserving children of weaker sections of the society. This has now become a regular annual practice. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of the performance of the children and the same is continuing till date. Every year the number of children awarded has grown and currently over 50 students are receiving education with monthly scholarship support from ISHWAR.
The Society commenced its artificial limb fitment activities in 1997 when it fitted 10 patients in the Endolite Prosthetic & Orthotic Centre, Delhi with ATLAS limbs free of charge. This was followed by providing artificial limbs to the victims of Karol Bagh Bomb Blasts in 1998, a gesture much lauded by the Government and by the public.
